Fitter 52 vs Paylean

Post by madarchery » Tue Jul 03, 2018 1:06 pm

I have been hearing and reading about the new Fitter 52, to start off it sounds like a great option to replace the paylean and remove the negatives that are associated with the paylean. After some research and number crunching I now have to wonder if the cost is worth it?

Situation - Herd of 6 pigs, we always seem to be a bit sloppy low and in the Jowels.

Paylean goes for about $40 a bucket, and would be enough for 26 days worth(not that I would this is for easy number crunching)

Fitter is $50 a bag and I would need 4 bags to get 28 days worth. That is $160 more for I would assume the same results but maybe with no side effects?

Could you explain the benefits and negatives of these 2 products? And how they should be used?

You don’t have to feed Fitter 52 for 26 days. To burn jowl if you feed 8 oz per day you can do it in probably 14 days. If you feed 1 lb per day you can do it in 10 days possibly 7.

With 10-14 day results, can I assume this to be a replacement to paylean?

How are these products different as far as end results?

Potentially.

Paylean: increases muscle, decreases body fat, increases growth rate

Fitter 52: increases muscle, decreases body fat

You can also get more out of both by feeding them together

What are the draw backs to the Fitter 52? We all know paylean has the hoof joint issue, does this high protein/lysine combo have negatives we should no about?

Ex. of possible side effect, Could I expect loose stool from the Fitter being so high in protein?

No loose stools, no side effects that I am aware of or have seen. Fitter 52 is not a drug like Paylean (ractopamine HCl.

None of our other High Octane supplements have side effects. Fitter 52 doesn’t have any either,

OK,
Sounds like a good option.

When is the best timing to use this product.
We have a couple around 200# with another 50 days to go. They have some loose jowels already and a bit much cover. Would you feed to trim some of it now and possibly again later if needed or just wait until 28 days out to worry about cleaning them up?

If you are going to show between now and then yes. If you aren’t, I would wait until 14-21 days prio to show. 8 oz per day will probably take 14 days possibly a little more. 1 lb per day will usually take 10-14 days. Maybe less

wanting to see what kind of weight gain can I expect with feeding 1 lb per day of fitter 52 over a 14-21 day period versus feeding paylean

Fitter 52 is not going to increase weight gain. It really depends what else you are feeding with it.

Paylean will dramatically increase growth rate. Research data indicates that Paylean almost doubles growth rate in the first 7 days.
