I was just wanting some suggestions on how some people fit their pigs on show day. People have told me to limit feed and water, but I don't see how when the pigs need to look fresh and full. Thanks for any suggestions.

depends on the judge. i might limit water in feed just before weigh in to get them in a certain weight class if it is a market show. most times i try to get them full and popped. we use feed, electrolytes, and fillers such as Sunglo Fulltank or wet beet pulp.

On show day just keep them full of feed they will cooperate more and you need to be as full as possible. If your pig is over conditioned though dont give them to much to eat but enough.
