Controlled Gain

Post by buckhunter » Mon Jul 14, 2008 8:27 am

I am curious about trying to dial a pig in on a specific weight. We have been feeding 4 lbs of 16% ground feed, 4 lbs of beet pulp, moor fat, and paylean. We are shooting for 1 to 1.5 lbs a day. The pigs look really good with good body fill and nice cover. We are splitting that into 2 feedings and feeding it wet. Haven't weighed them for a week and 1/2 but they were at 258 then. weigh in is 7/19 with a top end of 280.
