Kgb,have two pigs coming in a couple weeks, they should be 20-25lbs,with all ur advise last year we r going to feed all Purina this year.If u would, could u give me a break down on what to feed,as far as reg feed and supplements. Thanks!!!
For a pig that small, I'm thinking our PRELUDE 309 first...one bag per pig. Then transition to the new Showpig 509 (if you live in TX, OK, LA, and parts of AR and MS).
Feed one bag of 509 and then transition to Showpig 709. I suggest feeding 709 until at least 100 lbs. If the pig is radically muscled and you can tell it might be tough to soften it up a bit, or lay down fat cover then transition to Finale 809.
** The PRELUDE 309 for a pig that small is for the medication (CTC and Denagard, respiratory and intestinal protection).
