Stress after fighting.

I had two pigs in the same pin. They were doing fine for months then yesterday they got into a big fight. Not sure why but that’s beside the point.
My gilt isn’t eating now. She goes over to the feed, takes a few bites and then goes and lays down. She does eat the pudding I hand fed her. Is she stressed? should I be worried? She doesn’t look horrible, but is a little beat up, especially around the ears.

What do I need to do? Vet check, wait a couple days, supplement something?

Is the other pig in the pen a barrow? He may have a retained testicle and could be acting like a boat, especially if she’s coming into heat.

Yes, He is a barrow. No retained testicle. I separated them and it took a couple days but she is back to eating like normal. I think the fight was over food. Thank you!

Pigs fight. When you introduce new pigs to each other (even just 1) they fight (every time) to establish a social pecking order).
