Can you feed silage to pigs, and hogs ?do they grow? What's the break down,or how do I find out? Protein? I know, they love hay, grass. Thanks!!!

Corn silage and high moisture corn they could. Corn silage probably not as well but hay silage no. Pigs not digest hay and grass very well, they can to an extent but not enough to get anything out of it. Thats why you feed high fiber feeds to fill out and hold pigs. If you were going to try I would make sure you are mixing in protein and SBM at the very least.

Like Hampy said swine can not break down cellose like ruminants. So it would be hard for them to grow on silage.
