Breeding Certificates

Post by alterna » Tue Apr 08, 2008 11:37 am

What are breeding certificates.

Need to know all about them.

Why might I want one....what do I need them for....if I already know I can't get papers on my gilts...should I need them from the boar's.

Nothing wasted here, I'll take all the info y'all are willing to give
If ya don't raise champion children, the livestock won't really matter.

Breeding certificates are basically a certification from the boar stud or owner of the boar you bred to that his registered boar(or semen from said boar) bred your registered sow/gilt on a certain date. You need that certificate to complete the registration of the litter. If you do not have and cannot get papers on your gilts then a certificate isn't gonna do you any good.

BTW, I like your signature. So true.
