Matrix in sows?????

Does matrix work on sows? Do you have to know their heat cycle to know when to give it to them or anything like that or can you nust start open sows on it whenever and it should work?

As long as she is actively cycling, Matrix will work. It is not labeled for sows in the US, but it is in Europe - they use a 9 ml dose in sows though rather than the 6.8 ml dose. A 14 day treatment will synchronize any random-cycling group of animals. If you know her cycle and want to extend it, you can start on day 16 to save a little cost on Matrix.

Do sows cycle the same as gilts about 5-9 days after? You also breed sows at 24 and 36 hours correct?
