Matrix and PG 600

Post by ddwil » Fri Aug 21, 2020 8:08 pm

I am using matrix to synchronize my females for 14 days and then giving them PG 600 on the 15th day. My question is how many days after I give the PG 600 should I expect to see them in standing heat and ready to breed. I have heard the 1 day to anywhere from 7 days. I am trying to time it up so I can breed them on a Monday or Thursday with fresh semen.

OUR EXPERIANCE HAS BEEN 4-7 DAYS. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ONE COME IN ANY EARLIER THAN THAT. EVEN THOUGH THE LABEL SAYS USE FOR 14 DAYS, WE GIVE IT FOR 17 DAYS THEN PG ON THE 18TH DAY (WE SEEM TO SEE A HOTTER HEAT CYCLE BY DOING THIS)
THIS INFORMATION IS JUST OUR EXPERIENCE AND WHAT WE DO, IT IS NOT A SUGGESTION NOR ARE WE VETERNARIANS

would you say 90 per cent of yours are standing in 4-7 days or is it higher?
