Big Stick @ Moyers

I did a search on this boar and found several that have discussed him, but I'm interested in what those of you that used him, what did your sow look like and how did it work?

Also, can you use him on first litter gilts?

I'm going to discuss with Moyer's as well, but when shelling out $600 for semen, I want to get as much info as possible.

We have a really nice blue-butt gilt that I think will be perfect for him.

I have one on feed out of a tremendous warfare sow. He seemed to take away some width and rib shape. But they are still nice pigs just not as good as their mother.

I used him on a Batman gilt that needed to be downsized. She also needed width, rib. He did everything I needed. I kept a gilt back and happy with her. The littermates show in a few weeks. I have not seen them, but it sounds like they are right on track. The barrows were awesome when I sold them.
