He's getting used hard.

I think that Hillbilly Bone should have a great year next year. With only being bred to limited sows he had numerous winners across the midwest. And now with more major breeders using him it will be interesting.
Does anyone know what sound looks like anymore?

Swamp Bottom Genetics? Not only have not heard of the boar Empty Pockets, but I've never heard of Swamp Bottom Genetics! No Website, no mention of the boar. I doubt he will be making much of an impact around the country in 2012 with no promotion of the boar. Might be locally.

I'm assuming that he is a Deep Pockets son?

I was lucky enough to get four doses of Empty Pockets!!! Hopefully next week I'll know if the sows settled. Yes he is a Deep Pocket son. Deep Pockets x Super Monster. You will hear from him soon!

A lot of these boars that are raised on the farm are used awhile before most people "mary okie" find out about them. Just saying. Fancy websites and pictures doesn't make a boar any better. A good boar is a good boar.(period)

Empty Pockets was bred by Ron DeOrnellas. He is currently at my farm but we are in the process of getting him back to Cutting Edge. He is an April boar so he is now just being collected. But he is soon to be owned by Cutting Edge.

I have 5 gilts breed to Empty Pockets! He is the best young boar I have seen this year. Tons of bone, Deep Pockets type chest, walks like a cat. Will hope Ronnie makes it so i can afford to use him again next year.

I think Cow Bell looks really interesting. I have not seen any of the young pigs in person, just pics in the online sales. They look good. I would love to hear if anybody has seen either the boar or the offspring.

Bingo Bren. I have seen a few litters & from the looks of things COWBELL imo, will hang o ton of banners. Hearing a little that trends may be headed back to a complete, functional pig that is attractive. I dont like to make industry statements, but this is coming up often. If so Cowbell fits the bill to a T. He seems to be consistant along with his power, substance, tru-width, & eye appeal. His babies are definately gonna be marked up. Deadly combo. The year of the Cow..??..
