Just be a little careful ordering . I bought some pigs from TSU grew them off and kept what I like. Bought a boar pig was very square and tracked really well . Bred on to him . My daughter showed a barrow in a major , made the sift but only got a 5th . We were pleased anyway . Kept 2 gilts and bred back to him . Daughter no longer in school so other kids showed some of them . Had 2 class winners in different counties . Raised some off seasoned pigs from one in the winter from my friends boar out of 9 lives . Good pigs . Weaned them and ordered semen . She is standing hard and the semen came in . It was pure York and I ordered from a cross . Used it anyway and got some good looking pigs ( shes a milk cow) . Not really disappointed but none placed better than 3rd in county . The sister was bred by a different cross at a different stud . Pretty bad . All grew off to be flat sided and feet not square . This sow has raised one of the best pigs I ever had the year before.
Ive use the old man on some grand daughters and a 9 lives son here that I can see clearly . Ordered a little but carefully .
