I would also like to know about the boars at Triple B. In particular: Under the Radar (Berk boar from SWTC).

Here is what I have heard from my Facebook post, please feel free to give any thoughts on the boars!!

I'd be careful with Tree Trunx, he offers lots of cool features but height of blade wasn't one of them.

We were there he's (Night Vision) a good boar but I liked tree trunks better as far as blue boars. They have a lot of good looking boars, their new boar total addiction is really good looking boar and soul train impressed me as well.

My top picks Tree trunks, Soul Train, Kemo-sabe, Total Addiction in no particular order.

Tree Trunks: rib shape is good and he looked sound on his feet and legs.

I didn't see any major structure issue on any of the boars their were boars of all shape and sizes depending on what your breeding and what needs corrected out of your sows. The 4 crosses that I picked out I believe will be the best fit for my sows.

Kemo-sabe is a big monster x super monster x amen boar, be good to raise gilts out of. sound on his feet and legs ,good rid shape.

Tree trunks huge boned stout boar heavy structured. I didn't think he was sounded enough. And actually thought he ran down hill slightly. Again jmo

Night vision I thought was better structured taller at the point of shoulder even tho he had his head down and made him look low fronted. I absolutely hated his ear set also he was a very sound boar again jmo

Kemo sabe is nice needs more bone but great structured and sound

Soul train is nice I think where pass his type tho still impressive for that old of an boar needs to be longer fronted to play today big rib good depth of body

Also add to tree trunks good rib not enough depth of body tho

I like dream on the first few times I saw him but as a mature boar I don't know if he got big enough same story on home brew

Bandwagon is interesting boar first few times I saw him I didn't like him but he was injured he looked better today then he has good feet and legs plenty of power good structured maybe could use a lil depth body

I showed tree trunx at perry Georgia the only thing that I have seen out of our 5 litters is some could use some more lower Ham other then that the design and cool look is there!

Again this is what I got off my Facebook post when asking for opinions on Triple B Sires Open House! Thank you everyone who offered advice!!

You need to use I Cloud and Elementary for the yorks. Tree Trunx looks to be a lot like he sire. Half the litter will be awesome and the other half will have some sort.

I don't really care much about someone's visual appraisal of a boar. I really care about what the pigs out of the boar look like.

I've seen pigs out of these three boars and really like what I saw. Just placed 5 Tree Trunx pigs in PA for the PA Farm Show. Monster boned hogs!

They bought him to use on the Starbuck and I Got it females. So I would use him on those prettier fronted, good designed females that need some more power and mass.
