Full Strut

Post by WSG » Wed Sep 21, 2016 8:52 pm

I was wanting to use Full Strut on a couple gilts this fall. A big reason I am wanting to use him is for farrowing ease. Have people had good luck with farrowing gilts that are carrying Full strut litters? Also what is he going to help and improve and what should I protect him on? Thanks!

full strut litters are very easy to farrow most of the time. The boar is great structured, you need to protect him on muscle

The other boar there to look at would be Gone Viral. He's similar to full strut and just as correct. As a plus, he's sired many champions, and makes impressive gilts to keep on the farm. Personally I think Gone Viral is a touch better and they are priced the same for semen. Both are more moderate and not as extreme.
