raise the stakes
raise the stakes
just wanting to see what some of you think of him and see what kind of sows you would use him on ?
Re: raise the stakes
I just used him on a Legendary gilt. I'm curious to see what I get. I have another I bred to Man Crush.
They both look like Legendary. I thought they needed some bulk. I liked the cover and look of Ante Up. Hopefully he'll come thru.

Re: raise the stakes
has anyone had a litter of his pigs yet? I have two bread two him would just like to see what you guys think of the pigs?
Re: raise the stakes
I'll have some at the end of February. Update then.
Re: raise the stakes
So they were born March 26. Best litter I have. Nice tops, real nice depth and rib, have bone but not over the top. Wish they had more width, seem to more athletic looking than muscular. We will be taking at least one to our fair.
Re: raise the stakes
one litter is really good my raise the stakes x bonecollector are very good hard to find any holes in them.the other litter is raise the stakes x godfather are good but you can find holes in them but we'll see at the fair .
Re: raise the stakes
Used him on a really good designed, top of the middle of the road frame size Bone N' Hand gilt that was just average in her muscle pattern. Early March litter and they have grown very well. As far as an analysis of the pigs, he generated a ton of muscle in them and he shortened them up some as well.
I would say that he needs to be taken to a bigger outline female that needs a shot of muscle. He will moderate them, blow them apart and put muscle in them. Looks like he is going to generate more like his sire (Ante Up) than the maternal Grand sire (Best Man).
