Rusty nuts

Post by mict71 » Sat Oct 15, 2016 7:39 am

Does any one know why high point has taken rusty nuts off their website? I was planning on using him at the end of the month, but I guess I will have to go to my second choice of red-u-mental. I was just wondering what happened.

Purely speculation but I wonder if it's just plain numbers of boars. They picked up several lately. Or semen quality could have went down as he got older.

I posed the question about Fat Tire here a week ago. He is retired and just debuted. I suspect semen was bad. Idk.

I really like red-u-mental. He's a big guy. But I haven't been impressed with the offspring. They look average and don't sell well from what I've seen online. I don't know of any other colored up boars that are proven. Rusty Nuts was the go-to. Maybe his dad- It's All Good would do it?

I used rusty nuts on a Starbucks York sow to get replacements. Entire litter was white. Keeper 2 gilts and plan on breeding to something to get some red colored pigs. The gilts did get a little to straight out of there rear jocks out of him
