Horizon-Premium blend

Post by mict71 » Sun Aug 27, 2017 6:21 am

I have a crossbred Gilt that is real stylish looking from the side but she can use width of chest and more bone. I was wondering if anybody has seen anything from him and if you think he would help. Any input would be well appreciated.

We had a 2016 litter put of him, had 6 out of the litter make their respective premium sales at county level, including a grand overall champ.

They were all very good structurally, but didn't change depth of rib either way from the sow. They all grew off well, wound up above averaged frame. He does throw that blue as well.

On the bone question, a few wound up with alot of bone, others were just average bone, so wasn't consistent across the litter.
