Showpig.com has joined forces with Kennedy Ventures to form a new industry partnership that further enhances auction services and provides a means to increase exposure for both online and live events. This unique partnership, under the name of Showpig LIVE, will allow customers to invite online traffic from Showpig.com to live events and take the stress out of closing sales by working with Showpig.com’s team to clerk and settle LIVE auctions in a similar fashion to Showpig.com Online auctions.

We enjoyed a jam-packed week at The Exposition in Indianapolis, and the Showpig.com crew is ready to do it again this week in Springfield, Illinois. Springfield may be known for being the capital of Illinois, but the last week of June it’s also the home of the Team Purebred National Junior Show and the Certified Pedigreed Swine and American Berkshire Association Summer Type Conferences. Show pig enthusiasts from all over the country will flock to central Illinois to take part in the festivities. If you’re heading to Springfield, we have some things to do beyond the barn.

Jackie Lackey, Haskell, Texas, has joined The Wendt Group as a Business Development Consultant and also Interim Director of Marketing. In her consulting role, Lackey will work with the team to develop new and innovative tools to help sellers ‘do business better’ and continue to attract buyers to the industry’s leading online auction platform. Temporarily, Lackey will also lead the team’s strategic marketing efforts for Showpig.com. By recognizing needs within the industry and listening carefully to both buyers and sellers, Lackey will steer products, services and content relevant to all customers and audiences.
